1. Who these terms are for

By using MsyeAI you agree to these terms. MsyeAI is a tool for businesses — accountants, bookkeepers and business owners — rather than a consumer product.

2. What the service does

MsyeAI reads receipts, invoices and bank statements you upload and puts the details it finds into a ledger in your account. You can review and edit those entries, export them, and connect the service to Xero or Google Sheets.

3. Accuracy, and what stays your responsibility

This is the most important section, so it is written plainly.

• The software makes mistakes. It can misread a figure, pick up the wrong date, or misinterpret a document entirely.
• You must check its work. You remain fully and solely responsible for verifying every entry, tax code and figure before it is used in a return or sent to the Revenue Commissioners, HMRC or any other authority or platform.
• We are not your accountant. MsyeAI is a productivity tool. It is not a licensed accounting, tax or advisory service, and nothing it produces is advice.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a one-off allowance of 25 documents at no cost. We do not ask for card details to start a trial and it does not convert into a paid plan by itself. The allowance is granted once per account, and we may withdraw or vary it for accounts that appear to be created to claim it repeatedly.

5. Credits and payment

Beyond the trial, the service is paid for with credits. One credit is consumed per document processed — a receipt, an invoice, or one page of a bank statement. Credits are bought in packs, do not expire, and are consumed as you use them.

Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law. If a document fails to process because of a fault on our side, tell us and we will restore the credit. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Where we agree a fixed monthly price instead, the terms of that arrangement are set out separately.

6. Your data

The documents and data you upload remain yours. We process them to provide the service and for no other purpose, and we do not sell them. You can delete records or your entire account at any time. Our privacy policy sets out how we handle personal data and who processes it on our behalf.

7. Connecting other services

If you connect Google Sheets, you authorise us to create spreadsheets in your Google Drive and write ledger data to them. We do not read, change or delete anything else in your Drive. If you connect Xero, you authorise us to write the entries you choose to push into the organisation you select. You can disconnect either at any time.

8. Fair use

You agree not to use MsyeAI to:

• upload malicious files or anything designed to cause harm;
• carry out anything illegal, including tax fraud or money laundering;
• reverse engineer the service or attempt to extract the underlying models.

9. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MsyeAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill — arising from your use of the service, from errors in extracted data, or from the conduct of any third party.

In any event, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
